INTERCHANGE

'Interchange' is a piece I've had for a while, the idea came to me while watching "Spirited Away" the Animation film which inspired me, especially the part when Chihiro was on a train running on water. I've also taken notes on how the animation created splashes, ripples and effects in which I can use for my upcoming piece.

I've then decided I wanted to create a piece with a vehicle on water and ended up with a floating train rail track sitting on water allowing the train to travel from one island in the sky to another. you may ask "how is it floating and also sitting on water?" first it's a fantasy world so anything can happen, ideally I wanted to have a waterfall to be part of the composition but it would of made it extremely busy in my opinion.

To make it feels like it's floating I made sure I've included clouds and and mountains in the background and by increasing the height level of the rail track at the back gives the impression that there're more land above and below.

I've
